A sombre album that acknowledges loss and summons plenty of passion. The EP consists of four tracks only totalling 12 minutes but what they lack in duration is made up for in their power and raw emotion. My favourites are "Sleep Patterns" and "To The Lighthouse".

Passion Pit, an electro-synth band from America are an interesting listen with plenty of synths, intriguing and distinct vocals and a wide range of emotions. My favoured tracks on the album are "Little Secrets", "Eyes Like Candles" and "Swimming In The Flood". Enjoy

Teen Daze + Blackbird Blackbird
Two dreampop/chillwave albums that I'm really addicted to at the moment. They're both very similar in their summery, floral and by-the-beach feel with a slight undertone of despair - giving you the sensation of driving along the sea-side on a hot day with the wind blowing through your hair while feeling the tears run down your sunglasses.
In particular, have a listen to "Hawaii" by Blackbird Blackbird and "Gone for the summer" and "Shine on, you crazy white cap" by Teen Daze.

shoe-gazing at the stars
Spirit youth, the third album by the depreciation guild has definitely restored the "youth" within me. The album envokes feelings of nostalgia and yearning, vividly bringing back memories of gazing at the stars when i was a care-free kid. I set the first song of the album, "My Chariot", as my alarm tone and it definitely is a beautiful way to start the day and the album. Enjoy...
